YES! I remember fighting a ridiculously hard boss, beating him on my 6th try by dumb luck, then having to wait HOURS before I could save the game and register that in game.

Adult gaming problem: there are multiple points in the game where you are a solid 2-3 hours in between save points. Made the game completely unplayable for me.

I liked where this eventually went. You can tie a clear line from Avengers Dissassembled all the way through Siege. It was probably one of the most impressive multi-event runs I’ve seen. Marvel ran a tight ship. And clearly had been plotting stuff over a solid 5-10 year period.
