It don’t take 30 minutes to cook a patty when I’m the only one in line. And other area locations get me in and out in 10 mins.
It’s a well known issue in town, our Whataburger blows as far as employees are concerned.
Ah I did, but should clarify - Houston Native. Lived in the DFW area for the last 10 years or so.
So we have a suburb that wishes it can compete with the wealth and clout of Highland Park in the DFW
Just general shitting on Highland Park my “wish we were them” suburb likes to do. (can you guess the suburb?!)
Despite all that could, this is the one thing that always makes me ashamed of my fellow statesmen
Highland Park, probably.
Braums. Is. Trash.
Sub par fries (CRINKLE CUT, REALLY FUCKING CRINKLE CUT?!)
“Real” ice cream that is NOT Blue Bell. You can also get a shake as a drink at ANY place that serves them. It’s not like it’s a free upgrade.
Sausage biscuits are disgusting
And how anyone could say they make a better burger is beyond me. It…
It’s been my favorite thing to take a stand on. My mom texted me about it, I said GOOD!
What do you mean GOOD?!
Maybe they will have enough money now to hire more people to make my local location run faster!
As a fellow Texan (and Houstonian, go ‘Stros) this is the silliest part about the state.
OH NO, LET’S NOT HAVE SOMETHING BE MORE SUCCESSFUL THAN IT ALREADY IS. We should WANT our products to be exported across the country and world. If that means they have to sell to accomplish that so be it.
And Schlitterbahn is…
They don’t and it’s mind boggling.
Oh yes! Let’s buy up something that is HUGELY successful and fuck it up.
More likely, it’s Let’s buy up something that is hugely successful and make it more successful
ooo nice snark.
Like I’ve already said, if you need an app to remind you to be a normal human, relationships should not be a priority. Sharing with your partner is relationship 101.
1 & 2 - again, if you need apps to be a normal human - which is what ths is reminding you to do - you need more help than this and being in a romantic relationship is a losing proposition
She the outrage. Dude was asked a question and non-answered it.
I really wonder how people who need things like this function in society.
Do I always remember to make sure my wife feels good about herself? No. Do I not do it enough that I would need a stupid app to do it? Again, no.
How many chefs own their own restaurant. I’m talking your average restaurant, not Gordon Ramseys so and so diner.
And, owner or not, they are still being a diva. Most of which is the Soup Nazi.
For this customer, not at all.
I am very aware of my surroundings at restaurants. My wife and our friends like to hang around after the check has been run. In my small town every restaurant is busy at meal times and I’m often the guy going “Let’s move this to the bar or get out, there’s a wait”
Saying that, if a server…
On several occasions, I had to tell people “I’ll give you all the samples you want, but that line is 7 deep, you got to wait. What do you want in the meantime” Some get pissy, some don’t just depends on the day
As a former craft beer bartender, I rarely thought someone was trying to get things for free. But you could totally tell when they were.
Or it’s the guy that wants to fill up his UnTappd list. We had a screen that showed in close to real time what people who were there checked in with. Every now and then I’d catch…
I had a life working in a craft brewery recently. This was my response as well on Saturdays. We’d get tons of people from out of town. For the most part, they would sample 2, maybe 3. After that I was like “ahh sorry can’t do any more samples, you can try as many as you’d like for $5.
While some were novices, we had a…
This is not at all a real problem. The size of the room, amount of time and amount of people in the room required to make this a problem isn’t even a possibility.
Someone had to make their column quota today.
