ATTENTION EVERYONE:

You should be. Are you afraid of Tim ? He's probably a future serial killer

If the movie is as you describe the events, part of the reason it failed was that it was advertised inaccurately. The commercials suggested none of that, and mostly showed Sandra Bullock demonstrating that she has moxie.

I don’t think the “white savior” label is accurate when describing this movie/the true story that inspired the movie. If you read up on the true events or even watch the documentary (which I highly recommend), you’ll see that, in a way, these events work to turn the “white savior trope” on its head, and send out a

I love that this year, a number of the scariest stories centered on non-ghost incidents. The modeling gig... the poisoned uncle... a woman buried alive... a madman in the basement... Sometimes the spookiest stories are the ones about other humans.

She notes that Morales is both the current president and indigenous.

It’s worth noting that Morales is now President of Bolivia, the only president of a South American country that comes from a native culture. He’s also a socialist. Needless to say, the oligarchs in the world are not pleased.

Long-time lurker joined just to post this, because it is the creepiest (real-life) story I've heard. It happened to a friend, and from the way she confessed it to me (not braggy or laughing, just genuinely creeped out) I can vouch that it's true, for what its worth.

Okay, this one wins. I don't have any religious belief at all, but for some reason paranormal stories involving religious imagery are my nightmare. I'm like hyperventilating in a sunny room at 3 in the afternoon reading about that crucifixion— plus the blood coming out of the walls like the elevator in the Shining?

So creepy!

Growing up, when my mother wanted the final word in discussions with my dad she'd say 'remember I saved your life.' Finally I asked her how she'd saved him. CPR? Heimlich? I wouldn't have believed the story coming from anybody else, but she is one of the most practical, honest people I know so I gotta go with it....

I'm going to share!

Never seen one myself but I have a story from someone I trust. A few years ago, I asked my SO if he had ever seen a ghost. He got really uncomfortable and squirrelly, lots of hemming and hawing. Annoyed, I said "Just say yes or no! I won't judge if you think you have seen a ghost." (I'm a skeptic and figured he didn't

The upper back half of my parents house is haunted. Or posessed. I don't know, but it's wrong up there. When you go upstairs and open the door, there's a large room with a walk in closet, about 700sf. There's a hallway to the right with a little bathroom, and then a door that leads to the other half of the upstairs,

One more (despite the fact that I've had to sleep with the lights on for the past two nights after my sharing brought 'visitors'):

For all those who work late nights in high-rises…

Ok, I posted this last night on someone's thread and it was suggested I copy/paste it to my own as well. So, here it is. 100% true, as crazy as it seems, and only part of what I lived with for years.

So when I was barely twenty years old I was travelling with a small group of people through China, and we were spending about two months in Qinghai province, which used to be part of Tibet. Our destinations was a specific town to teach English, but we'd been stopping often in towns and small cities along the way. One

Mine probably falls more into the weird category than anything else.
