It's out next week.

Cliche or not, it's still entertaining, not unlike the early Spider-Man in terms of concept. With so much doom-and-gloom in the Marvel Universe, I'd fully welcome a lighthearted cliche like this.

He didn't reject her affections. He outright manipulated them and she fell for it like a sap, and she blames herself for being so blind to it.

For the record, that douchebag was part of an Inhuman supremacist group who tried to get her to turn against the human race because he felt they were so much better than humans, and she beat him up for the betrayal and for being a racist jerk.

So far, the goal seems to be NOT integrating her. She's not living in NYC, for one, and she appears to be staying out of Attilan as much as possible (according to Inhuman #9, she's only ever been there twice so far).

Not with the current writing talent, of course. Get something on the level of "Spectacular Spider-Man", though…

My gripe is that her shapeshifting powers would likely look like crap on a live-action TV budget. She just feels too animated as it is to be restrained by real-life limits.

Personally, I think an animated series would suit her best.

Kamala is so separated from the rest of the Inhumans that she really doesn't work well as a POV character.

For what little it did, as Schumacher bought out Williams' contract and replaced him with Tommy Lee Jones.
