Oh, come ON!

She needs, like, three times as much forehead.

You know who doesn’t think the usage of cleavage is boring? Female cosplayers who have good-looking cleavage.

When you see one be sure to tell them.

People who complain about comic book characters in a comic book adaptation are... odd.

USS Kelvin blue uniforms

This GIF makes the whole conversation 20 times more enjoyable.

Two words: “moon shoes”

We don’t know when The Cage occurred exactly. If we blend all canons together, the light gold & light blue uniforms were used all the way back on the Kelvin, before Kirk was even born. So they were pretty old by the time we saw Pike & Co. wearing them.

This is what the uniforms should have been from day one. What were they so scared of?

It’s 2018, and the Skant is STILL beyond the current state of cultural progression.

HOLY SHIT, that looks absolutely terrifying! It’s perfect!

A: T’KOOOOVma!

Not if it’s very dense and/or the ground is soft. I was actually surprised that they didn’t go overboard with the landing. Not everything behaves like it’s in a Hollywood blockbuster.

Ceased to be interesting to you. Were you aware that many people actually enjoyed how the show went left-field at the end? I mean... these shows are based off of comic characters, and left-field is what Marvel does best.

They found Finn Jones filming on the set months ago, there’s definitely going to be a Heroes for Hire subplot in the second season. There’s also suppose to be a Daughters of the Dragon subplot for the second season of Iron Fist.

It’s very interesting that Star Trek will actually beat Star Wars to having a woman direct one of its movies. Though it is (belatedly) fitting, as Star Trek’s whole MO has always been about pushing cultural boundries. At least one part of Star Trek is still into that sort of thing.

TIL The Denmark penal system is modeled after the town of Mayberry.

Even better is Lisa Jackson’s devil-may-care attitude about it.
