Why, I would love a statue like this. It’s tasteful and gorgeous, the type of art I’d be proud to display in my home.

It may not be photoshop but it’s absolutely camera and lens trickery. Neat as hell either way, but a “realisitic” photo would be less forgiving. Even the “before” isn’t brutally honest.

The assumption by the conspiracy theorists online is that, yes, these were done by people fluent in Japanese, but maybe by people within the country who don’t like Japan... *shrugs*
