I don't know of current things, but i know of some origins of Bishies, or beautiful men. Like Kabuki theathres use to have women, but they were eventually thrown out, so men took over the women's roles. It is then hard to tell the male's gender since they were beautiful.
This is totally relevant:
Also I can tell you, anime characters have various ages for their height. For example, Ash is 10.
I never realize that line weight play an importance on character design at all. Or it could be an optical illusion that it looks smaller but it could actually be the same size. It should be more of how the sillhouete looks and if its mostly different from the parents.

I like how Tetsuya is drawing other illustrations. In this one its also referencing her Boku wa kuma song. She has also cosplayed as a bear at the music offices.

But I love using it to make my sketches.
I can believe that too. As an artist for me personally, it gets really deep when you try to buy alot of different supplies for different mediums.
I haven't seen though a good mechanical pencil. Well maybe a few drafting pencils, but rarely I think of an artist trying to find a high grade mechanical pencil.
And I understand when digital was fully introduced. Ive already watch the pixar documentary, which was even about John Lasseter getting fired for introducing the digital medium. Lassester is a real and great example of the traditional vs digital which alot of deviant artist constantly pit against each other. Lasseter…
Yea thats what I also mean about backgrounds. Things in the production line can still be traditional depending on how confortable a person feels. But of course, eventually everything has to go digital so that people around the world can have access to the animation
Ive done one animation class and also remeber a film…
Acetate is the actual translucent cellulose medium that cels are painted on. It is the exact same medium that is used in overhead projectors. Cel Shading is not called Acetate. Cel Shading is a 3D process where a cartoon or 2D coloring texture is applied to a 3D model.
The name comes from cels (short for celluloid),…
I just realize his kids inherited Naruto's wiskers... Is that really possible? Is naruto's wiskers a gene? Or its because of the ninetail fox.
It seems its more of the benifit to the fashion designer and companies. It helps to show off their designs so companies can hire them.
Or she just has Fashion Proportions. In fashion design alot of the body is elongated to show off the clothing.
