I was informed that this is not correct. An older passport without Real ID is not compliant. We we’re flying from Ft. Lauderdale to Providence in January. Some guy had an older one, and they would not accept it. 

I just got my FL license renewed recently, but they would not issue me a Real ID compliance. It’s because that would mean I physically have to go to the DMV. And that’s a problem, since we are military and living in New England. However, CAC and dependent cards are compliant. Customs and airports said my license was…

I consider myself one of those mechanics noted here. That being I do not trust others in my profession. Selling a job for the sake of selling never sat right with me. If I recommended something, it was because it needed it. As I’ve said before, I’d rather be an honest mechanic than a rich one.
