FF IV had such a large effect on my life...I promised I would name my son Cecil. But my wife didn’t agree so we settled with changing the spelling of Kain, to Cayne, to conform to a “C” name. Love hearing about all these FF characters names....if I had a daughter Rydia would be a huge option...love the Vivi nickname…

Legacy FF games in general still haven’t really been touched quality wise. That’s what makes games like XIII so frustrating. IV had an uncanny emotional theme, VI had such a grandiose/epic story (with massive amounts of meaningful characters to boot), IX was a re-adjustment to “fantasy” after disasters (IMO) of VII…
