I’m going to start work in corporate america this summer and i’m reading The Art of War just to prepare myself for the “Intellectuals.” The company I’m joining seems really cool, though, so I’m hoping there won’t be m/any.

I missed it today, only because I came to work to find that my laptop had been stolen. An hour later, it turned out that the thief had been security... to prevent anyone from stealing it. No note, no email, an hour of wasted time. Would’ve been a good Facebook rant.

Seeing Bannon’s face makes me concerned about how much alcohol this administration has made me imbibe. I don’t want to end up looking like him after four years. D:

One thing that happened in the strike in Poland was that women whose bosses didn’t support the strike just quit their jobs. Not everyone has the privilege/security/ability to do that, but i thought it was pretty ballsy and awesome.

My apartment is literally decked out in Bay stripes because my parents bought us housewarming gifts from home when we moved into our new place. Blankets, mugs, socks, oven mitts...

We live really close to the 34th st Macy’s. I realized I needed a shirt for an interview that was coming up, so went there, hoping to find *something* to wear.

Yeah, I’ve used streetcars like... half a dozen times in the last ten years and haven’t used a bus since high school. Most of the subwaying I do is on the Yonge/University line. Ugh, that sucks — I’m sorry you’ve had to deal with such yuckiness D:

Jeez, I grew up in Toronto and have never seen the subway as dirty as you describe it O_o I wonder if it’s just the stations I use... or if 10 years in NYC has made Toronto seem pristine in comparison :p
