The same thing happened to me, though no nakedness involved. We were staying at some random country hotel in Poland and someone unlocked our door and came in in the middle of the night. I was sleeping in the room with my mom and I was too terrified to move or speak — thankfully, mom just asked “Who are you?” and the

Man, I always couldn’t wait to get back to school after holidays and I’d be pissed if my parents took me out for an extra day for a longer vacation. Kids these days... :p

Eh, these are probably the same men who told off Natsuo Kirino for writing a novel like Out — because women are supposed to be writing love stories.

I’m sorry. That sucks. I couldn’t handle my relationship with my parents between the ages of 14 and 20 or so. (they’re super-overbearing, so that was part of it) — now my mom is my best friend. She’ll come back around <3

When I was... around three or four, I was watching TV in the living room of our old house. All of a sudden, my mom hears me just start WAILING - -uncontrollable sobbing. I would cry so hard that I would pass out (that still happens sometimes) so she did her best to calm me down before that happened. When I could

Are you my ex? :P

My grandfather apparently told my very young uncle that gnomes made radios do their thing when my uncle asked how they worked. My uncle believed it for years — until he made the mistake of repeating the ‘fact’ when he was in the first few years of grade school. He got made fun of and never forgave my grandpa for the

I’m still really upset that there are next to no split-screen games around (that i actually want to play). D:

Right? The characters were just so fucking real - something that I hadn’t felt with most thrillers/mysteries that I’ve read. She’s fab. I didn’t like the end of Out, but the first 95% was amazing.

The end was kind of disappointing but it’s a really badass book for 95% of it. She has another book — The Goddess Chronicle — that I haven’t read yet; it’s very different (a retelling of mythology) but I’ve also heard it’s pretty fab.

Thanks! I don’t read a lot of YA but I will look into this one :D

Leigh Bardugo’s Six of Crows was an insanely fun YA fantasy magic heist book. It’s a quick read and it’s really great. It’s set in the same world as the Shadow and Bone trilogy; i didn’t like those much, but I loved this one (except for the end cause i didn’t realize it’s gonna be two books!)

I keep hearing about it and i need to get to it.

Because I love recommending books... *grabs this year’s spreadsheet*

Putting my favourite book of the year out there (not a new release): And the Birds Rained Down by Jocelyn Sauciere. Beautiful beyond words. Highly recommended to all, and it’s very short.

I’d hope I could be smooth enough to say “Sorry, I didn’t catch your name. Could you repeat it please?” and feign total ignorance.

Seriously. I do not want the new versions. I want to give my $$$ to the original editions, though! D:

‘jewesque’?

I’m kind of disappointed this didn’t happen to me.

I was so scared of it happening when i ran my first one.
