You are correct. The new machines only OBDII and visual. That said, they're EXTREMELY buggy and very few shops have them. BAR considers it more of a BETA program as it rarely works correctly for an entire day. Let's not talk about the cost of said machine, as it's a nice downpayment on any house in Sacramento.
