It’s amazing. Fisher patiently explains exactly how and why there were racial issues with the handling of his character and how his concerns were dismissed and belittled by the white higher ups. What do the commenters do? The exact same thing. This is how racist power structures are able to keep rolling along.

#SnyderCut could have used more waffles.

Booyah is also a Cyborg catchphrase in the animated show Teen Titans (of which Teen Titans Go! is a reduction).

Whedon got “Booyah” from the animated show Teen Titans Go

The Jezebel post is a bit more expansive on the problematic racial issues:

It’s like Joss Whedon thought “Hmm, entertaining phrases for black people ...” and could only pull Stuart Scott.

Whedon is asshole, why Cyborg hate?

Okay, you won me over with Krypt-o-nite.

The actor says this made him think of Black actors like Gary Coleman and Jimmie Walker, who became synonymous with the catchphrases of their TV counterparts.

If this is Fisher not being cryptic, maybe he should go back to being cryptic. Because if this is the whole story basically boils down to:

honestly though, I dont think being a star in this franchise would have helped his career with either cut.

Interesting. I think I missed out on that because I bought it well after the fact and could play the DLC missions prior to the final mission.

This right here is why the ending of AC2 will always be tops for me. Same deal for those bonus puzzles where you gradually unlock images of Adam and Eve making a break for it.

Ok, but to be fair if there was an over the top anime villain pope, it was Roderigo Borgia. Dude was infamous even in his own day as a probable-assassin, and the Borgia’s legacy as a family of murderers and poisoners only grew through the centuries.

The best part of AC2's ending was when you find out they’re talking through Ezio to Desmond in the future.

AC2's ending is also incredible for the WHO IS DESMOND?? moment that Ezio gets shortly after kicking the crap out of the Pope.

No game has had the guts to put “Assassinate the Pope” as an on-screen instruction since. (I believe even the remasters changed the wording.)

Definitely the best ending, all the funnier because Ratzinger bore such an uncanny resemblance to Palpatine in appearance and mannerisms.

What made the ending of AC2 even more hilarious was that they clearly had run out of time during the game’s development and decided to punt two chapters to DLC. Which would normally be completely fine and understandable, except they chose the two chapters just before the final confrontation where Ezio sees the cost of

Have any of you guys actually watched a Whedon production?
