I forget where I saw it, but somebody did a survey once of the kind of neighborhood people wanted to live in: pretty much everybody said "diverse". So they pressed the point — when would you feel that the neighborhood was diverse enough, and when would you begin to feel out of place? Then they did the math.

Except, you know, the article is providing evidence that racism happened. It has little to say how white liberals in those cities feel about race today.
