Yeah, I try not to think about it… if I dwell too long on the Hanna mystery, I start to think about looking :) Honestly though, I suspect when McKinnon wrote it, he didn't commit to stating whether Daniel was innocent or not (and perhaps he wasn't even sure which way he might go with it), so I doubt the answer is

"The Wire was really hard…"

"Unless of course you have inside information"

"It's hard to find people interested in this show, it's like literally nobody cares which it's a shame because it's been incredibly consistent through all three seasons."

I'm making an educated guess - based on what I wrote below about the timing, the motive, and the time of day he came by Janet's house. Trey probably guesses that they're on the brink of getting search warrants (and they are). I could be wrong, but I did think it was a bit coincidental that he comes by - and then later

A head fake minutes before killing yourself? To what end?Besides, it's clear George was a follower, not a leader. He killed himself because he was guilty about raping Hanna/framing Daniel for the rape.

Yeah, but that's the same thing you might say if you were lying - i.e. blame it on the other guy that is a suspect.

Yeah, call me crazy but I don't think of someone that robs a bank in an alternate universe that allows you to do that for a Review show on TV as a jerk. Forrest might be a doofus, but I like him.

Geez… this is a comedy that takes place in an alternate universe. It's not like someone could actually commit felonies and broadcast it on TV without consequences. There is no pretense at realism (although granted, it's more realistic than The Bridge).

"it seemed to me that what you dismissed as silly was just stuff you disagreed with."

"Ganging up" implies premeditation - it's definition is a "banding together" or "combining for a specific purpose".

Who's "ganging up"? You think fans are having secret meetings somewhere coordinating their posts? And do you honestly think this board is different than any other? They're all the same and it's perfectly logical, since the majority of posters would be people that enjoy whatever the board is devoted to - since people

Season 1 has just become available on Hulu.

Sides all are aching.

Oh, man, you've got to go watch all of S1! It's hilarious - and you can binge it in an afternoon. Funniest show on TV.

"…but now it appears that he's just an idiot doing it on his own accord so he's hard to sympathize with especially since it's a complete reset."

Well, of course I'm not sure - but it's weird that Trey chooses that moment (not long after being questioned more than once about George's death) to make his first, unannounced visit (in the middle of the afternoon) to where Daniel is staying.

BTW, I think you're WAY overestimating Trey's "mind fuckery" powers, as you put them. He made a few slip ups with Daniel at the trailer - which Daniel caught - just as he continues to make mistakes with the Sheriff. He's not all that clever and will end up in jail due to his own mistaken overestimation of his powers

Obviously - but this contradicts what you just wrote above: "If the scene was real that made it clear that Trey knew Daniel was innocent". No, it didn't - because it was a hypothetical.

"I wonder if we are talking about the same scenes? "
