Not around here. Mostly college kids who think they're invincible as they cross with their noses buried in their phones.

I'm less than a thousand words away from finishing the short story I've been working on. Hoping to get it done before the weekend so I can get it to my reader.

Mr. Max is changing jobs on July 5. He's going back to where he was before. Better pay, closer to home, likes the owner and no more stupid team shit. I've been after him to go back since the owner texted him months ago and said, "So, all the assholes are gone (the rest of his family), wanna come back?" This time,…

Re-reading American Gods and just started One Kick by Chelsea Cain.

When he introduced himself as a character, it really took me out of the story. I finished the series, but it really lost some of the glamour for me.

Happy birthday!

Happy birthday!!!!!!

I haven't done a thing on any of my stuff except re-read it. I think I'm stuck in a creative rut.

I'm with you there. There are some obnoxious players out there, but right now, he's taking the cake.

Just finished He Said/She Said, which was good, but so many "twists" it felt like the author was trying to one up every other writer.

I got a free comic/graphic novel download on my Kindle and a friend recommended Spider-Man: Kraven's Last Hunt. So guess I'll be reading that?

Bad Girls just ended as I was typing my list.

Our former IT person called Microsoft the anti-christ and refused to use anything but Corel/Word Perfect products. There are still a few old timers (like me) who whine about Word to our new IT guy every. Single. Day. And we've had it for something like 10 years.
