I used to write everything longhand in little Mead notebooks and didn't type any of it up until it was finished. This one I'm working on now is the first one I've typed directly. It feels weird. Mostly because I can't just pull out the notebook when I get an inspiring line of dialog and I usually forget it by the

A friend wants me to write for his graphic novel, he's providing the art and I just need to come up with the words. And I have absolutely nothing. I told him you can't force it, the characters talk to you when they talk to you. Not sure he's buying it, but oh well.

I'm reasonably happy most of the time, but not this week.

Smart.

I dunno, my friend from Columbus picks up on (and picks on me) for my yinzer accent. I say fuck 'em, he lives in BJ country. And not the good kind of BJs.

I think Operation Mindcrime is the best concept album out there.

Planning to start hitting the beds this weekend. We didn't do a garden last year, so shit's been neglected. Hopefully I can get most of it done this weekend.

That was one of his better books, probably his best stand alone. The various other novels pissed me off in one way or another. 20th Century Ghosts, his collection of short stories, was excellent.

I read it years ago, but decided to pick up a copy to refresh my memory. Haven't started it yet.

I've written over 30K words on a book that I swore I would never do. It's coming together way better than I thought it would.

Live - The Dolphin's Cry
Neil Young - Sugar Mountain
The Thin Line - Queensryche
Let You Go - The Clarks
I Am the Highway - Audioslave
All Night Long - Rainbow
Long Long Way to Go - Phil Collins
She's Got You - Patsy Cline
Still Crazy After All These Years - Paul Simon
Careless Whisper - Seether

I didn't know if the actor was still on Scandal or not since I don't watch it. But the character? I'm pretty sure he's still alive and if they wanted to have him back for an appearance or two, it shouldn't be a big problem since both shows are Shonda shows on the same network.

I'm pretty sure Thatcher is still alive.

Amelia first….

She was introduced before Lexie. She was pregnant. That's about all I remember.

This was better than I thought it would be. Despite the bare minimum of development given to the critical cases, it was still enjoyable.

I'm afraid they're leading up to Edwards thinking she doesn't have what it takes to be a doctor and just dropping out. The kid she lost and missing blond intern's TB have both had her doubting herself much more than any other characters on this show have ever doubted themselves.

True. How is it that some shows can have entire seasons mapped out and this one can't even manage a 3 episode arc?

Maggie is second worst for me. Snatching the surgery out from under Riggs, jumping on her "sisters" when they tried to make sure she was OK, not speaking up in the OR (would it have been so hard to say "We wait" the first time Arizona asked?), jumping on Jackson for not saving her mother. Which brings me to another

Maggie came in guns blazing with members of Hilltop, including Jesus, who's pretty memorable. Negan said something like "the widow lives," so he knows exactly who she is. He knows who she came in with. And even tho it was Gabriel who lied about her being dead, Negan could see she was with Gregory's group.
