I work tomorrow, then I"m out until next Wednesday. It's our busiest time of year so it's very frowned upon to take more than a day or two, but since my co-worker is out for medical reasons, I barely managed to get my 2 days in.

Born to Run is on my library list. Can't wait for that one.

I'll Be Around - Hall & Oates

I count it among my favorite Westerns. Funny, as much as it runs on TV, I never saw the first half hour until very recently. Still love it.

A) Day has been crazy, as has the last 6 weeks since my co-worker decided to have elective surgery during our busiest time of year and isn't expected back until next year. Just came back from our annual Hanukkah/Staff recognition luncheon, so at least I ate.
B) Survive the rest of the year without killing someone or

Just finished "All the Ugly and Wonderful Things" by Bryn Greenwood - really powerful - and "I Like You Just Fine When You're Not Around" by Ann Garvin - meh. Just started "You'll Grow Out Of It" by Jessi Klein. Not far enough into it to form an opinion.

Part of Negan's control is "You fuck up, I kill someone else. You live with that." So when Daryl punched him, he killed Glenn. When Rosita tried to kill him, he had Phaedra* kill Olivia. In both cases, those who tried to harm Negan have to live with what their actions caused. As for Carl, well, hell, he knew he

It was Jesus. He was waiting for him by the door propped open with the matchbook.

I liked it. Moved some pieces into place, finally. Yes, the prior episodes were somewhat slow, but the setting needed to be built.

Anyone remember Kodak disc cameras? Yeah, that was a great one, that led to another great gift.

Nutbush City Limits - Bob Seger
I Can Dream About You - Hall & Oates
Won't Get Fooled Again - The Who
Babe, I'm Gonna Leave You - Led Zeppelin
Since I Lost My Baby - The Temptations
What's Next to the Moon - AC/DC
Esta Vez - Cafe Tacuba
One Rainy Day - Godsmack
Save Me - The Clarks
Stuck in the Middle With You - Stealers Wheel

One of my former co-workers posted a threat against someone else on her personal FB page and she was suspended without pay because her FB page linked to our work page. You never know until you try.

I got two ideas on why she got away with that: 1) Negan is only out for "willing" women; he wouldn't "rape."* Olivia was showing in no certain terms that she wasn't willing; or 2) killing her would accomplish nothing in terms of intimidation, not like killing Glenn or Abraham or even threatening to kill Daryl, Carl,

There was a mini-comic that gave his backstory that was separate from the actual comic. I never read it, so I have no idea what it was.

I was thinking it was the same guy whose compound Rick and Aaron found, that the guy was out hunting and had a heart attack or something.

I would have enjoyed it much more had Carl been younger, as he was in the comic. Negan then taking him around would have made more sense when Negan should have just killed him outright, as the show said he did with all males over 10.

So after how many shows focusing on only one plot line, we get an hour and a half (OK, 50 minutes after all those commercials) of 5 different threads. Did we need that many? Could they not have fit one or two of these in the Tara episode?

If I could upvote you 100 times, I would.

I was hoping for "Easy Street."

I have absolutely no cool ideas this year. :(
