We still quote Action League Now around here. It was by far my favorite, followed closely by Prometheus and Bob.

YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!! Recaps are back!!!

And Dianne in Shaun of the Dead.

Same here. I was raised with more adults around than kids my own age. I tried to do that with my boys, as well, keeping them in the room when there's adult conversation until they got to an age where if they didn't want to hang around us old farts, they didn't have to, but at least half the time, they still do.

We've just started watching and we're halfway thru season 2. Really a great show. I'm kinda bummed I missed it the first time around, because I'm a wee bit spoiled, but yet, I'm glad because I can binge it now and not wait for the next episode to be released.

Grunt by Mary Roach and The Living Dead 2, a zombie anthology.

It's my favorite time of year, Jewish Holiday season!!! I work at a Jewish non-profit and we get lots of holidays this time of year. Just had a 2 day holiday for Rosh Hashanah. Have Wednesday of next week off for Yom Kippur. Then the 17th and 18th for Sukkot and the 24th and 25th for Shmini Atzeret and Simchat

I can't believe they dropped coverage of this and kept coverage of Lucifer. I mean, I watch both of them, but Ash is so much better.

I absolutely love it, but sometimes, I hate it for the ridiculous plot holes (wow, what a convenient dumpster that I can crawl under!!!!) and just want to scream at the TV. OK, sometimes I do. But if it ever gets to the point where I'm just hate-watching, I'll give it up. I'm thisclose to giving up Fear the Walking

Totally in the minority, obviously, but I thought this was better than last week. The only thing that could have made it awesome was if Travis tracked down the three bros and put bullets in all their heads, including Chris.

I was actually surprised to see a review of this, bummed that it's only one episode (and select few, maybe) but glad for it nonetheless.

We watched in the beginning, first 3 seasons or so, then it just became the same old thing. So we'd tune in periodically, when nothing else was on or Seinfeld was a rerun.

I think Operator is the saddest song ever. I really like the intensity of the acoustic Everlong, way more than the original.

Down in a Hole (acoustic) - Alice in Chains
Stage Fright - The Band
Hell in a Handbasket - Voltaire
Everlong (acoustic) - Foo Fighters
For What It's Worth - Stevie Nicks
Operator - Jim Croce
Had I Known You Better Then - Hall and Oates
Some Kind of Wonderful - Grand Funk Railroad
Bad is Bad - Huey Lewis and the News
Wasted

Finished The Wire last week. Great show, but IMO not the best one ever. Started The Americans, but we only got thru the pilot. I'm intrigued, so we'll continue watching.

I, Ripper by Stephen Hunter and The Lost Girls by Heather Young. Both are OK, nothing special so far.

My oldest has his "portfolio show" tomorrow, which is the last thing he needs to do to graduate college. Now I have 2 years to save for the second one…

We also have Lickingville.

After a not so bad episode last week, this one just went right down the shitter. Elena should have yanked Madison away from the room as soon as she opened her big gringo mouth. Alicia should have just shut down the sign and told her mother just how stupid she was being, not only jeopardizing everyone else at the

In my head, it was Yakety Sax.
