Ships are not that easy to kill, and if you don't believe me, look up the stories about the Cole, the Stark, and the Samuel B. Roberts. A carrier is a difficult target because it can move quickly, relocate itself, and have a defensive ring of ships that can engage incoming aircraft as well as anti-ship cruise missiles.

Twin ring Motegi......The others are used for testing or "retired." Motegi is still in active service.

I think a breathed on Stagea 260RS.....The only non GT-R to get the fabled RB26DETT.

He had a poor start to the year, which is understandable, but the way he his second half of the season is looking he will be a better driver if he can maintain his ride. I think there was pressure in the English media for a hometown driver. The British press and fans were extremely negative about him.

Me thinks McLaren got rid of the wrong driver...

I think Perez is starting to mature, and both outqualified and outfinished his more illustrious teammate for the second or third time this year. He is young, and has the ability to grow. I think Button is just "driving around in circles" now.

Not bad, one inaccuracy though. The USS Frank Cable (submarine tender) doesn't go with the carrier. It's a floating depot-level repair facility. I suspect the fact that it is a floating repair facility with lots of welding and repair shops influenced the decision to send it.

Also, every one of the consort ships also

This might actually be good, because the need a driver who is proven to give technical feedback, and help improve a bad car, like Massa has shown he is able to do.

Also, I've been flying from Japan and back over the last six years, and I can say the best flight I had was JAL, on one of the new 787s. Free drinks, comfortable seats, and modern movies and TV shows.

I think this would be great....Its a smart thing that would help insure safety, and could be used as a training tool for people for people doing HPDE and Grassroots motorsport. It might be a way of democratizing telemetry, my making it cheaper and move available to the public, especially if it is available to connect

Actually, the Izumo is the second of its class. The first, the Hyuga, has been in service for quite some time.
