My thoughts exactly! Well, one of my thoughts, at least. I kept wondering why he was so horrified by the vague similarity between “phoenices” and “pensises” until it finally hit me: HE’S PRONOUNCING IT WRONG. XD

I hear ya, but it seems disingenuous to pretend there’s no difference between ‘In University, there was a sexual encounter which could, in hindsight have had clearer communication - if we were not on the same page and the other individual felt consent was not clearly present, I absolutely regret it’ and the serial…
I was talking about the stupid argument by birthers that even if their bullshit belief were true that he was born outside the US, he is still a citizen because his mother was. But then, I’ve started down the birther rabbit hole and I don’t want to go there; thank god we are free of that nutcase conspiracy theory.
I just assumed oarfish inspired the legend of sea serpents.
You understand that anecdotal experience does not equal statistics, right?
Like you ain’t sucked dick for just chips and dip.
This whole thread is like reading a bunch of virgins giving each other sex tips.
This is a bitter take.
All these alone-ass bachelors talking about what they would do if they could get a woman to even say “yes”.
I’m just admiring the rock and thinking, if it’s especially large, “Good for you, gurl, get yours, GET SHMONEY!”
You saaaaaaaaaaaalty.
Even though I know I watched and loved every episode of this, the only one I can remember is the one where the kid got stuck in the mall that turned into the pinball machine. (Or was that a Goosebumps?)
Those numbers are bound to change once all those high paying coal mining jobs come roaring back.
The Tale of the Crimson Clown still scares me to this day.
The rest of the movie could be utter garbage, but I’ll call it a win if they do a satisfying take on the intro from the show. Opening credits sequences are pretty out of fashion these days, but they can make or break an anthology series, and AYAOTD had a real winner. It needs to be a significant part of any adaptation.
The episode with the room on the other side of the mirror is the one that stands out strong in my memory.
That’s cool and all but I would be more interested in a Zeke the Plumber feature film
A Canadian TV channel’s been uploading a bunch of free content to YouTube, including the first season of AYAotD:
It is wearable art that costs nearly nothing. Only fools would deny themselves. The key is, as with most things, acquiring a working knowledge and exercising some discretion. Luca Turin and Tania Sanchez’s Perfumes: The A-Z Guide is a good starting point.
But I like Jean Nate!
