I’ve tried to give ebooks a chance, but I just hate the experience. And I love the experience of reading print books. So I have no reason to switch.

Is there any chance that her show will become a nightly event? *fingers crossed*
Oh good. If you liked John Wick, then we simply have no common ground, because it was terrible, and we can just carry on living our lives.
Too droopy to be erotic. Flaccid eggplant make me sad.
I actually don’t like to read reviews before seeing a movie, because I don’t want to go in with the reviewer’s ideas in mind. I find it easier to take the numerical rating with a grain of salt. It is something I take into account, but it doesn’t make my decision for me. I prefer to read reviews after I see a movie, so…
People who don’t have infinite money to see movies...
I’ve already done my part by giving that nonsensical John Wick a 1. That was one of the worst movies I have ever seen.
My sister was handed analog dick pics by a guy at the bus stop. She went, “Ahh!!!” and then dropped them, and he said, “You didn’t have to drop them...” in a really whiny voice and scrambled to gather them back up.
“Ah, thanks for that. The other day I met up with a dude who’d been lying about about having a butthole, and it was a complete waste of time.”
Sure, why not? Add me to the list.
That is what I love about perfume. I adore big loud florals, but I feel wrong in anything gourmand, even though gourmands can be lovely on others. It’s so personal. :) I do love unisex scents as well, usually leather, on days when I want to mix it up a bit.
Huh. My dad, a Berner who fits the profile, most definitely has mommy issues.
Amanda Marcotte at Salon mentioned something that I hadn’t considered before, which ties the abhorrent behavior to the absent delegates:
I am so jealous of your username. Top drawer!
We must be siblings (except that my dad is retired). Before I unfollowed him (which I rarely do to anyone), he was posting an average of 40 Bernie memes in 2 hour blocks every night. I just got into an argument with him about Nevada last night. I’m so disappointed, because in the past 9 months, he has gone from…
You can blame yourself for not knowing what either the Republican or Democratic platforms are, and for having trouble with the definition of “a few.” (Hint: it is more than one.)
My read: abusive officers tend to be the ones who ignored their instructions and turned their cameras on and off, while officers with nothing to hide followed instructions and left theirs on. And the difference in assaults on officers is probably a combination of some people being emboldened by the body cameras, and…
“What’s more, and contrary to conventional belief, the rate of violence imposed by cops on citizens is not influenced by the presence of body-worn cameras. But—and this is a big but—if officers switched their cameras on and off during their shift (i.e. discretionary use), the likelihood that they would use physical…
Most of the people I know who read a lot still read and buy print books. They often also read ebooks, but the latter did not replace the former.
