The writing for this season was subpar.
Yeah both great. The big difference is Spartacus knew how to land the series ending. Every time I see it I tear up. Spartacus expanded its scope during its run from personal to epic like no other TV show I've seen.
Burris pinned that on Ray when he tried calling Woodrugh and got Burris on the end of the line instead.
I think the overall story is far more compelling than that for Season 1.
Having just rewatched all the eps this last 2d, I'd have to say the story is far superior to season 1, and the performances are excellent. I don't think this season works on first viewing because the story is so dense and there's no easy hook in early episodes.

No - I'm from the UK and there's no coverage here. We do pay for the parasites, even the adorably cute ones. So yes we're stupid. I have mixed feelings about that
