My thoughts exactly! These women have basically exposed and flipped the hollywood game and profited off of it instead of letting gross men at the top profit from it and yet they get all the vitriol. I used to not care about them at all, but all the hate made me curious so now I read the articles and instagram and but

i find her incredibly badass and, all things considered, very classy. shit is flung at her and her family at an unbelievable rate and her family tends to engage, but what i hear of kim is good- she’s kind, polite and doesn’t engage. i think it’s disgusting how much people focus on a sex tape she did years ago making

the rage kim inspires in people WILL ALWAYS MAKE ME LOVE HER.

How many times do people need to be told that the inherent implication behind black lives matter IS all lives matter?!?!

Colin Firth. Pierce Brosnan. Liam Neeson. Patrick Stewart. Simon LeBon. Alan Rickman. Mark Harmon. Cary Grant. Lenny Kravitz. Antonio Banderas. Blair Underwood.

Harrison Ford. Nearly 80 and still hot damn.

George Clooney. still got it

That doesn’t make her argument illegitimate. Not to mention, she does lightly address the mistreatment of survivors in her first tweet; she seems to propose more advocacy from other feminists (male or female) in order to alleviate this problem.

I think she did a good job of calling out everyone.

In regards to “dress how you want to be addressed”:

Next time I see a guy in cargo pants I’m going to force him to build me a house. I mean, walking around looking all probably-owns-a-hammer...what did he think would happen? #CarpenterLookingAssBitch.

This is where that Albright quote applies, if you ask me. A woman like Taylor, who is making quite a point lately of speaking up about both feminism and her industry, should see an intersection here. And should really want to say “let me use my admittedly powerful voice to get this some attention” - to support another

If it’s your job to do a performance you agreed to do and you don’t have mitigating circumstances ie illness, family issue , then yeah, I can blame her to just not wanting to work.

They’re Mardi Gras Indians, and they trace their cultural lineage back to the days when slaves and Native Americans made common cause. Their outfits loosely resemble Native American wear, but they come out of a long and in many ways distinct tradition. The Native Appropriations blog calls some elements of masking

Kanye is a disaster of a human but I find Taylor Swift annoying. Her convenient feminism that only applies to her when her feelings get hurt and her “protect me” because I’m a little girl thing and that’s why you shouldn’t make fun of her fragile feelings is insufferable.

“He pushed the repeal of DADT through (thanks Clintons!)“

Not to detract from your general point, but this is a really bad understanding of the nature of presidencies. In 1992 Bill Clinton directly campaigned on totally ending the ban on gays in the military, along with a universal health care plan. When universal

C’monnn, it would’ve been a totally self-serving, egocentric gesture. Perfection.

I try. I try so hard with Kanye, because I think some of the shit that is rained down on him has at least a little to do with the color of his skin, but good lord that man is a full-fledged man-child asshole. It’s like performance art at this point, but really bad performance art where the guy stands in the middle of

OK, show of hands: who stopped watching in Season 3 when it turned all West Wingy like 5 eps in? *hand*

Ok, I’ll give you #1 but you protest too much.
