@reimoise: You dare say it only if your taste is in your ass.

@newmakcity: For that, he/she will shirley get there comeuppins.

Back in my day, Madonna was being being chastised for riffing on trends already six months in the offing as well as the Marilyn Monroe-Marlene Deitrich trope.

@quatrevingtquatre: I saw nothing in that comment that indicated that she didn't think babies were no work at all. What I saw was a woman saying, "Look, ideally, I'd like us to get married and have a family but if marriage is anathema to you, it's still important for me to have a baby, preferably but not necessarily

Watching the movie "Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore" created a unhealthy obsession with manly men. Never doubt the hotness of Kris Kristofferson. He is a lovely, lovely man.

@Holly: Yup. I think it's a deliberate choice to be offended by every little thing. And I think it must be exhausting.

I think this is a case of people deciding to take her original comments the wrong way. I thought it was quite clear that she was saying that the look in the eyes of some of the paparazzi's favourite targets clearly showed they felt violated. And really, fair enough. I realize that she will speak and ruin the illusion, but she looks quite lovely here. I wonder if I ever had that taut tummy . . .

@dayglo: The flow chart is going to have a longer shelf life than "Glee"? Alas.

@rhoswhen: A friend of mine used to be a messageboard owner and in was both an inspired fit of pique and a classic April Fool's joke, created filters for most of the "LOL" variations. To wit:

She often dresses like she was put together by a committee with conflicting personal goals.

@14Kgold: It rocked the first 30 times. Now it's just predictable.

Can we officially retire the "Oh snap" image? It's painfully unfunny at this point.

@Redred: No, I don't think anyone in the thread is suggesting that. I think it's the WTF hashtag that is rankling others. It certainly raised my eyebrows.

Breastfeeding—and any measure that promotes breastfeeding—and feminism are not mutually exclusive concepts.
