From an outsider looking in (Aussie), I never got this “Pence would be worse” crap.
Yes, he is extremely conservative, bible-thumping shitfuck.
But he is also a barely popular, charisma lacking politician.
He doesn’t carry the “Cult of Personality” among rednecks and the alt-right that Trump does. He doesn’t have the

This is what has always killed me. At the root of the whole “Actually, I hope Donald Trump stays in office, because Mike Pence would be so much worse” argument, there is the implication that he’s some master of the dark arts of politics. That he’s some chess master who knows how the machine works.

Just like a cow’s opinion. It doesn’t matter. It is just moo.

Joey? Is that you?

Whatever it is, the point is definitely mute.

This is all a moat point.

It’s not good, that’s for sure. Maybe on the grand scale it’s not that serious health wise, but when people hear a phrase like “heart problems” that tends to strike a chord of primal fear.

So ,,, ocher? Copper? Terracotta?

Optimist

That’s exactly it: the logic is that different mediums reach different audiences, and therefore require different language filters. A Tweet? That goes to the hardcore followers, who find his profanity bracing. Early morning conference with a foreign dignitary? Might be seen by Moms.

Yep. Was just speaking with a friend about this.

Easy on that trigger, there buddy.....

I now want a reality show where Aunt Becky and maybe Martha Stewart? visit celebrities for an intervention-like sitdown to talk about their crimes. They drive around in a very noticeable vehicle so all the celebs can peek out of their windows when they see it coming and panic: “Are they coming for ME this time?”

Harry’s long had an acrimonious relationship with the tabloids because of the role they played in his mother’s mental health problems and eventual death. My guess is this is less a Meghan issue than a Harry issue.

But will there be a spinoff series - based on the book, of course - called “Big House” and, inevitably “Bigger House”?

I think its more that paps follow them everywhere and they get asked questions constantly, and her own blood feeds the press stories. I can imagine it would be difficult to ignore. I think they do a lot to rise above the muck that the tabloids put out, but I can imagine certain subjects really hit them hard.

The issue is when the tabloids interfere with your life, i.e. publishing private letters or, I dunno, chasing your car into a horrendous collision leaving your sons without their mother.

Well what were they going to do, let Andrew go down for pedophilia? He had to be protected!

I’m around Harry’s age so I feel like I’ve watched him and Wills grow up and honestly, I was thrilled when I heard about Harry and Meghan! I think they’re super cute together. I watched the wedding to see the dress and tiara, but outside of that, I just follow her fashion choices (I need inspo) and think they’re cute

It’s just weird how people are generally invested in any view of her. Why do they care so much about someone they’ve never met? I’ve had people try to talk to me about her the way we’d talk about a close friend and I just get confused. Get a life, folks. Surely you have better things to do with your time that relate
