No kidding. Nothing is going to persuade his cult base to move in another direction. They will follow him no matter what, so making an effort to change those minds is futile. 

Pence is not the charismatic cult leader that Trump seems to be so I don’t think the cult followers will view him in the same way. Or they (the Dems)could also just slow walk the inquiry all the way to voting day

I’m an old and I can assure you it wasn’t not ok back in the ‘60's or 70's either. I don’t know know anyone who would do this then or now. Trudeau came from a highly cosmopolitan family - not some backwoods racist white upbringing. It would never have been concerned acceptable in his lifetime... or that of his parents…

I think the reaction from the public will be ‘man, that was dumb’. If you are a Liberal you will likely still vote the party line - if you are PC,  the same. But Scheer is a liability to that party for sure. 

I don’t think it shows his true character - it shows he is just not as smart as a lot of people thought he was because of his looks and his pedigree.

My spouse will snicker because I might be watching a news/opinion show...but has absolutely no problem watching 4 hours of golf on tv.

I always switch the channel if they have some GOP supporting stooge on regurgitating nonsense from the president and his stupid band of sycophants. Unfortunately there is no way of making CNN aware of how many people turn the channel unless they write CNN or CNN commercial sponsors.

Her choice of husband is certainly interesting - the guy is such a doofus.
