True, the drink was obsentibly an anti-lynching song, but it wasn’t a exactly a hopeful vision, it just primarily described the anguish of lynching. I mean, if they named a drink The Bulging Eyes and the Twisted Mouth (also lyrics from the song), would that be worse, better or the same?
