People die tragic deaths every single day. I really don’t see how a fire in London should have any impact on a marketing campaign for an American movie. I particularly don’t see how the baseball field shooting would be involved at all, as I can’t find any mention of any fatalities from the incident.

I think this is pretty spot-on and is something I’ve been saying to folks for years now. It really hit home to me in the closing weeks of the 2012 election during the peak of the “unskew the polls” phenomenon.
