Troll go away.

“what are the odds”

No racing pedigree for Ducati anymore

Noooooooooooooope.

It’s still a rendering so it’s not going to happen. There’s been what, 40 years of “this time we are totally going to relaunch Norton and it’s going to be the most amazing thing ever!” followed by really cool looking renderings or drawings or occasionally even a one-off prototype followed by...

So wait, people are claiming that Norton has a relevant racing pedigree when their last victory was 25 years ago but a 2011 World Superbike victory by a v-twin Ducati counts for nothing and they’re just milking the heritage?

“If you imagine your R1 is your Nissan GT-R and the bloke gets his brochure and turns to the back page to look at the spec list, the bloke who buys the Aston just sits there looking at the cover and thinks ‘fuck me, what a beautiful car.’ That’s where we need to be. But it needs to be an appropriate level of

This guy. I’m judging him.

As I predicted you’re the first of the simpletons who think pointing out the failures of the article equates to “defending the guy”.

It depends on what the complaint was and what the test drive was looking to replicate. I’ve had customer cars at 100+mph simply to bed the brake pads/rotors properly. (the brake manufacturer had explicit instructions of 10 HARD stops from 100+mph to 10mph, without a complete stop. How else am I supposed to do that?

If you have to send a team of engineers and multiple sets of tyres to a comparison test, your car is already is the losing car. The P1 was absolutely embarrassed by the 918 at Laguna. The engineers put multiple setups on the P1 and it couldn’t match the 918. The 918 was just sent from the factory as is with no support

Actually do. Their dynamics values as 0-60, max speed etc. based on the average results, when most of their competitors take the best ones, achieved in the perfect conditions. Porsche standards are very high and the only competitors they really care about are themselves.

Porsche handed over the cars like they were camrys.

This is one of the reasons I love Porsche so much.

What Stef said. Just don’t do it, folks!

I just went out and hugged my 911. “Everything is going to be OK, there aren’t any Mustangs or LMP cars around.”
