As soon as I read the title of this article I knew the answer: Eddie Gossage. Local radio used to have him on all the time even when he just had one NASCAR race and nothing else.

Totally agree. I don’t care how hard it would be to accomplish, but street races in NASCAR cities would be legendary. I’d actually go! Race through uptown Charlotte, downtown Atlanta, Nashville, Richmond, etc. That’d be so cool.
