I believe it’s not L3 by default (L3 sorts items). You have to press the touchpad. I accidently pressed it once (to zoom out), thought something had changed for the worse, but wasn’t sure exactly what, and just now, by reading this article (and googling) figured out what had happened and that I could zoom back in.

It took me forever to figure out (or read somewhere online, actually) that you could rotate stuff that you were crafting. There’s no button prompts telling you that you can rotate items. Trying to line up walls and roofs and doors without knowing you can rotate them (with respect to the character) made it rather

What makes it even more interesting is that the world record has already been beaten by another guy in the same competition, earlier on the same day. That guy’s name will never appear in the record books, though, since according to the rulebooks, all results of a round are considered to have happened simultaneously.

Now playing

Probably my favorite high-speed video from Mythbusters:

Touchdown!

.

She did chase him with the club, though (after already attacking him with other weapons). And smash a few windows in his SUV with it.

The vice-president, Sergei Bubka (a former pole vaulter from Ukraine), was supposedly arguing against the ban. I can’t say for sure that’s who voted against, though.

Although, I suppose it could be argued that he was already retired at this time. I’m assuming you stop earning pension after you retire, even if you’re still working? I’m not really sure.

From Deadspin’s earlier reporting:

“Default” doesn’t mean you can’t change it. Read my post again. I told you exactly where and how to change it.

Perhaps so, but it was changeable.

I’m also going to be THAT GUY and point out that Grave of the Fireflies was based on a short story of the same name. Also, Sling Blade. While it was based on his Thorton’s own work, even the Academy Award it won was for “Best Adapted Screenplay”.

I think ChAIR is probably better known for the Infinity Blade games. Then again, I’ve never owned an Xbox, so who knows.

Goldeneye had the option for inversion. It was only in the single-player options, though, and you couldn’t set it separately for each player in multiplayer. So whatever the person that played singleplayer last had put it on, everyone was stuck with. Luckily, I had normal friends, who all played not inverted.

Assuming you selected release-date shipping (assuming it was available in the first place), if you don’t have Prime, they’ll refund the shipping cost. If you do have prime, they’ll give you a free one-month extension. You can only get one extension per year, though.

YouTube can do 8K video

Next-gen GTA V has a lot higher crowd density than last-gen. I haven’t played either, so can’t really comment, but I’m fairly sure I remember reading that somewhere

Seems kind of crappy that Mark McGwire and Alan Trammell went from 6 years left to 1 year left overnight. Would’ve made more sense to do a rolling introduction of the new rule (eg. “5 more years or 10 years max, whichever is later”).
