I’ve always been a big proponent of fun in video games. Too many video games sacrifice or neglect fun for the sake of other things (sometimes for monetization, but that’s another story). But in this case, I agree. This is just a lack of respect for the player. Now, the only saving grace here would be, as others have

Fallout 4 went gold on October 23rd, at the latest. Review copies weren’t sent out until after that. They got the exact same copies that retailers did.

I realize you’re probably being facetious (probably), but this is relevant:

I remember printing some fighting game’s move list. I think Killer Instinct. Wasn’t really feasbile to travel back and forth between my bedroom upstairs and the only computer, in the downstairs hallway, every time I wanted to try a different c-c-combo.

I believe the implication was “morally right”, not “legally right”.

Something tautological can still be relevant. Which my statement is, since the OP didn’t make the distinction that is very relevant.

And if they’re both the same quality player?

Compare my examples above to a game like Tales of Zestiria that just came out. In that game, you can literally buy levels. While there are a fair share of articles bashing this, there is nowhere near as big a backlash as Payday 2. Because Tales is purely a single-player game, unlike Payday.

There’s a difference between a single player game and a multiplayer players vs AI game. Payday 2 is NOT a single-player game. If Destiny or WoW suddenly started selling guns/weapons for real-life money that were better than any gameload weapons, even if the weapons couldn’t be used in PvP, it would be a HUGE problem.

Divinity: Original Si:

Pretty sure that “Phobe” comes grom the Greek Phóbos (φόβος), meaning “fear” or “morbid fear”.

Amazing how many people responding to you lack basic reading comprehension skills.

Funny thing is, I’m willing to bet DraftKings was paying them to cut to the DraftKings-sponsored event in said bar, since every thing they cut to it, they made sure to put the DraftKings graphic on the screen.

Do we know if it made it in on the fly? Only been 3 that have ever made it in on the fly (if you count the one that landed in a boat).

And just a colossal waste of time. Spend what, 20 seconds, lathering up the cloth? 20 seconds a day, every day, for 80 years, and BLAM, that’s an entire week of your life just gone, spent lathering up a useless washcloth.

This isn’t the 60’s, though, and free agency exists. Come 2020, if Bryant became a free agent, who’s to say the Dodgers/Yankees/whoever aren’t willing to offer him a 10-year $300 contract? It’s not just about the money, it’s having to compete with 31 other teams for contract rights.

Yeah, you’re right.

And sorry, didn’t realize that I wasn’t in today’s article anymore, and was commenting on a month-old one :P

You can actually choke her out if you’re able to sneak up behind her. I’m not sure if it’s always a OHKO, but it was when I did it after she had already lost a little bit of stamina.

Or you could just use the actual shield (I’m assuming, never tried it vs sniper fire).
