I was always sad that they didn't continue The Tudors after Henry VIII's death because Edward VI was a terrible ruler. He had his father's caprice about cutting off heads and on top of that was a legitimate religious fanatic, prig and had none his father's intelligence or charm. Yes, without the star the show would

The opening of the HBO series Rome from a few years ago always captivated me.

Spoiler Alert……….in the Logo preview of next week, it shows there's a rap challenge and Laganja is shown being waaaaay excited about rapping and dancing. Everything she does embarrasses me, but that really does. I'm hoping this is foreshadowing her exit. Although, Darienne Lake is also given the "struggling" edit.

It's a complicated joke, too. Last year, Jinx did well by playing Little Edie as if she had no idea that her answers were supposed to be witty and taking the game seriously. Ben did a different take, with Maggie Smith/Dowager Countess knowing she was supposed to be funny and making jokes that would have killed in

I was really bothered by Laganja's first week declaration that her drag persona was "ghetto" when there was nothing ghetto about it. To me, that statement out of a middle class white person was obliviously, obnoxiously racist, as well as patronizing and classist. I get that much of the Paris is Burning lingo that is a

Yes. It was gutsy to do Michelle Visage, and Sharon did a goth Michelle Visage on top of that and made it work. Michelle loved it. I always thought Sharon came to the show thinking she'd get eliminated early. Her early interviews and several moments in the first episode illustrated that. Then, when she won that first

Trinity won me over in Untucked. In a sense, I think the confession was
contrived in that I think she maybe discussed it with the producers
that in a certain point in the show she would reveal her status.
However, I did think that it legitimately explained some of her
reticence and in her talking heads about it she

Watching the episode, I was really expecting Bianca to win and was pleasantly surprised that Dela won, just because the show surprised me. I would have been satisfied with a Bianca win, as both queens did great. I think Dela's Maggie responded more cleverly to the questions, which might have put her over the top.

One of my favorite moments in this episode is Lisa's breathless telling of her adventure to her mom including the fact that an atomic bomb went off but "I'm okay now."

The show must have known what they had in Jinx's performance during the Snatch Game because they very subtlety gave her the underdog edit from the first episode, and then post Snatch Game she was the favorite, despite the "Heathers" working against her.

I hate blackmail, especially over something that wouldn't necessarily send the victim to jail. Supposedly smart characters tend to fall into blackmailers traps, never tend to consult lawyers or tell the blackmailer, do your worst, since blackmail is totally illegal. Downton Abbey, which I get takes place in another

I rewatched and during Untucked the queens thought April was a contender for the bottom two. I think the editing must have left some stuff out for reasons unknown, because it sure looked to me like Adore deserved that spot.

April was so screwed over this episode, too! I really would have liked to see Adore redeem herself with an awesome lip synch, while I think April did the best she could with being miscast. April won me over by doing awesome with the Duck Dynasty box, so one of my favorites.

I found it odd that the show barely focused on April during the show, except for her not being butch, but really showcased Adore being a train wreck as a leader. Maybe it's because of the editing or maybe it's because Adore has been a mess both weeks, that I thought she deserved to be in the bottom two and not April.

Freedonia, mostly because Rufus T. Firefly is a great name.

I like Adore a lot. She's got a big personality, but I don't think she's stupid. I agree she plays the ditz for humor.

I feel like everyone is ganging up on last week's queens, which makes me want to stick up for them. I still think the strongest creative and technical response to the challenge and overall best look belonged to April, who should have won. She probably would have if it weren't for her using her own hair. Magnolia's

I think Shakespeare in Love is a good choice, because it's actually a well-done, funny little movie about making art that is completely destroyed by a wooden Paltrow lead. I'll even admit that she's not a terrible actress in other things, but that movie hinged on her character being an irresistible muse to

I was so disappointed in Kelly's Downton Abby look. That could have been so over the top, especially doing a homage to the Dowager Countess. I'm sure Kelly is a talented Queen, but she deserved to go.

I'm sorry that her show with Eddie Izzard never took off.
