Popcorn with Nutritional Yeast and Parm is awesome! Gonna try sprinkling a little MSG in there.

Go do your homework :-)

Not sure that’s true, it’s not like he’s beaten up people or abused kids. He made racist jokes, like a lot of comedians.

I didn’t remember that, about GF-2 - been a while!

It would have happened if the guy had just said “I’m aware I fucked up for easy laughs and I’m going to do my best to entertain on SNL. I might offend some, at times, but I’m careful about racism/sexism from now on.”.

That was back in ‘75, we’re nearing 2020.

Yes! I was too lazy to come up with a Wolf of Wall Street analogy, but Godfather works too.

You know, this guy isn’t a pedo. I think he could have gotten out of the situation with a simple “my bad, will do better”.

I have a feeling the decision-makers are of Lorne’s generation, I doubt they saw further ahead.

Haven’t seen the movie yet, but I don’t think they were really hard-up, mostly greedy.

Omg, someone give this guy a clue.

I agree with SNL’s decision, especially if the comments are indeed recent and given his flippant attitude to the backlash.

It seems the approach should be a recognition of the situation (i.e.: it seems your homework is challenging), but isn’t that just another way of projecting our reality on our kids?

There are comments like that though. Not on a large scale, but the objections seems to stem from the perception that the film promotes it’s empowering to drug men and rob them.

And Seth McFarlane dated the actress who played that super strong security officer... and now she’s off the show.

I was joking. I don’t work at an accounting firm. Shady practices occur, including strip clubs and accounting firms, and my point was:

It’s not perfect, but I actually like the whole Orville cast.

Mild Spoiler: O’Brien goes through A LOT of stuff in DS9, but they’re all great episodes.

A lot of people involved with TNG, DS9, etc. seem to be involved with Picard, so I’m hopeful.

Have you watched Orville? It very satisfying on many levels, much more than Discovery (which is OK, but often side-eye inducing).
