Yeah, except for those people that died because of faulty key-operated ignition switches, or all those cars stolen because of how easy it is to defeat key locks. Then again, it seems pretty easy to defeat keyless entry. Except for Teslas.

There have been three times that I’ve purchased a car without test-driving it first.

Yeah, this article is complete bullshit. You obviously haven’t tried teaching someone who doesn’t want to learn. I’ve gone through this growing up. When my father promised to get me my first car, I begged for a manual. He learned when he was in the army, but wasn’t a car enthusiast. He could drive a stick if he needed

I don’t know. I found that clip more entertaining than an entire F1 race.

I’m hoping that the actual pilot program is more comprehensive than what was described, but if it isn’t, then that is a poor testing procedure. From what is described, it seems that the dogs have a good specificity (low false positive rate), but unknown sensitivity (false negative rate). What is wanted in a screen is

Yeah, that drum solo is so good, even the deer are playing it:

And, this is why we can’t have nice things.

“First, we hope they might protect us from other people, at least a little bit. (The science on this is not very convincing.)“

Yep, Honda Fit is the answer. I had an ‘09 Fit. It has a surprising amount of room inside, is reasonably fun to drive and park, and mine was dead reliable. Now, if the HRV had more power, that would be another recommendation.

Don’t like. Prefer the original. The look has grown on me.

Hmm, looks like I need to take more photos of my cars together. An oldie but a goodie, and one newer one.

I have a ‘17 Civic hatchback and a ‘17 NSX. They both use the same oil plug washers and coolant, so it makes maintenance a bit easier.

Actually, that isn’t Valencia Red Pearl. It is Curva Red.

As an owner of a 2017 NSX and a former owner of an ‘04 NSX, I agree that this thing rips. It is an awesome car. I don’t know why people say that the front end looks generic. To me, it is one of the most beautiful cars around. I had a lot of people come up to me to compliment on its looks, and more than a few that said

His heart is in the right place. Because, seriously, fuck birds. They should have gone extinct with the rest of the dinosaurs.

How about a mid-engined sports car? Bought this one in Dallas, and was driving it home to Vancouver, Canada. In February. Didn’t realize that it snowed in California, and forgot to check the long-term forecast until the day I actually bought it. Luckily, I was able to buy some all-seasons for it for the drive home.

This is what I have in my garage. I’ve had mine for a week, and I love it. I’ve also owned a Gen 1 NSX (an ‘04) that I bought used in 2009 and sold a couple of years ago to finance this one. Most impressive thing is that I don’t notice the weight at all. It really doesn’t feel like a 3800-3900 lb vehicle.

Max was absolutely the best thing about The Bionic Woman. Don’t you dare make fun of him.
