Their website is terrifying.

Years ago I was working on a master’s degree at a university about 50 miles one way from where I lived, commuting 3x a week for an evening program after finishing up a full day’s work. Fortunately I managed to score an excellent stealthy speed-commuter - a 1991 Sentra SE-R in refrigerator white. Plenty fast, handled

I started buying stuff with EFI and haven’t often looked back.

It is reminiscent of older Jalopnik articles that actually had substance to them.

Anyway Mercedes, carbs are no big deal after 85 or so, unless it’s a California model. If something has been sitting long enough for the carbs to gum up, run away. Because “creaming” a tank is not really feasible at home unless you truly give zero shits about hazardous waste. Old bikes check the tank first, then

Honda Cars and The Goldwing and the Pacific Coast from this era all share the similiar design Philosophy. You can mainly see it in the dash where they all look the same

This car is like an episode of the Twilight Zone where the protagonist wakes up in a world that looks perfectly normal, but is just a little bit off in ways that slowly compound until the character goes mad.

two articles in a row saying “OH NOES THE 737" (yours and Torch’s)

how about having an article about what the actual problem, why it existed and how it was resolved without sowing FUD being the first thing you publish?

how about researching your article at actual credible aviation sites before publishing fearmongering

No, this is clickbait, and the type of fearmongering that causes airlines to rebrand the planes. Non-clickbait approaches would be to start with the article that talks about the changes, but then people might not be afraid enough to actually click on these articles.

I am sorry and you’re right - this rant is specifically directed at those that are choosing to fly and don’t have to. I used to be on a plane twice a week, almost every week. Loved it. Flight attendants knew me. I was friends with the bartenders in the lounges in multiple airports. I MISS flying, so much, and I miss

Hey, lets spread unfounded fear and panic for CLICKS!!!!

or... educate your fucking self and then make an effort to educate your readers.

this plane has been under more scrutiny, stem to stern, than any aircraft in the last 30 years. the software changes have been examined in an unprecedented level of detail.

the plane

My suggestion: Don't worry about it. You didn't care what you were flying on before the Max, don't start now. This plane has been under an immense level of scrutiny for almost two years. It's safe.

In a town of 2,500, of course they know each other.

There usually needs to be some motive for this degree of effort in stalling and covering up.  So yeah, who’s backside is being covered here?

I just feel like they did this in the wrong order.

That’s a lot of additional weight the chassis was never designed for. You’d almost certainly be disappointed by the result.

Most of my collection is old Craftsman. Some older than myself, dating to the ‘70s when my dad was in trade school and then never went into that trade. Others from the late ‘90s and early aughts, when I actually sold Craftsman tools at Sears.

In my neighborhood there is a Morgan 3-wheeler, a Polaris Slingshot, and a Vanderhall running around driven by locals, and I have to admit, I really like the Vanderhall. I know it doesn’t have a manual, and it’s fwd (although in a 3 wheeler this is probably a better setup), but it looks great, is properly quick and

Nissan might not be too impressed with that name...

I had an ‘03 Trailblazer with that 4200. If you stomped the throttle at 30mph, it would grab first and you were off to the races. And I must say, the Trailblazer had the best turning radius ever.
