This is why the B-52 has landing gear that can crab. That way the plane can land at an angle but the wheels are pointing the right way.

My dad and I used to car camp in a GMC Astro van all the time at Road Atlanta for things like Camel GT and the SCCA Runoffs. It was always so much better than a tent.
