I think the big deal is that Homeland Security is freaking out because they realize that a $400 plane from Hobby Lobby and a stick of dynamite with a detonator is a guided missile that is nearly impossible to defend a target from. They are probably telling the FAA slow this down so we can figure out how to stop these.

Those dogs will never get fat.

I have always wondered why life after college (especially socially) is not structured to be more like college. Even though it was hard, it was a hugely creative and exciting time for me.

Awesomely awesome! If only the motorcycle companies would make stuff this awesome, they would sell millions to off roaders and folks who live in underdeveloped areas. If they would a couple of floats that can attach to the sides then this would be able to go across the water as well.

Calibre can convert from any file type to any other file type, cbr to pdf to epub to mobi to rtf etc. The new version even lets you edit the books, so if the conversion yielded some quirks you can easily fix them. You can drag and drop from the Calibre window to the iTunes app file sharing window. It is also a great

The whole point is that everyone knows how to use photoshop, and nobody wants to throw out that knowledge to learn another interface if they don't have to.

Wow, congratulations on your self congratulatory superiority! It must be such a thrill to realize that all other choices other than your own are based on superficial things like status rather than the supremely rational ones yours are. Just out of curiosity, have you ever owned a Vitamix?

Almost every thing we have done in reaction to 911 has turned out to be useless or even worse harmful to us and others: Invasion of Iraq, Abu Ghraib, Guantanamo, Occupation of Afghanistan, The TSA, Homeland Security, and the NSA spyfest.

Why is it called the circle of life, coouldnt it just as easily be the circle of death?

No mention of Gimp? Pixelmator is a great program (I own and use it) but Gimp is closer to being a Photoshop replacement. Also for simple stuff Seashore is free and easy to use. As far as Sketch being an illustrator replacement, it could work in specific niches like icon design, but it is missing many of the basic

I think it just is the Apocalypse indicator.

That sounds like a recipe for some funky tasting eggs, are you sure there is not more than 3 Tbs of flour?

TouchID is far more secure than having no passcode as about 50% of people do. Also as far as being easily cracked, I have seen some elaborate multi step processes involving making molds of fingerprints, but nothing that I have would qualify as easy.

While I am very creative alone, I seem to have even more and better ideas when interacting with others.

With solar panels getting so cheap, I wonder if it would not be better to buy a cheap solar panel setup. You can even get one from harbor freight for $200 that has a regulator and even some sockets for 12v bulbs. That way you get the power without having to pedal or needing to be there to generate power. You also get

I have to agree with this. We decided to have a humble but nice wedding (less than $1.5k) and then we spent the money we saved on our honeymoon: 3 weeks in Costa Rica, a vacation I still fondly think of often over a decade later.

Apple has a one year warranty on their cables. Take it to the store and have them swap it.

The official Amazon cables are far sturdier than the Apple ones.

I think the more reliable system depends on the failure mode. If one of the 5 engines on the saturn V stopped working, that would be a crash. If one of 30 N1 engines stopped working it would probably not be as bad since 1/30th of the thrust is not as critical as 1/5th. On the other hand if the control mechanisms were
