I love the instant delivery and the tens of thousands of books that amazon has on sale every day for $2 or less.

That is just nonsense, because the soul of a book is not in it's physicality, but in it's ideas, and the ideas have nothing to do with the material they are displayed on.

I would be more excited about my real books if they did exciting choreography like these did, but I am pretty sure they don't. Given that, my kindle is by far more magical than my paper books.

You might try cleaning the screen well and using some acrylic floor wax like Futura on it. Alternatively anti glare screen protectors tend to cover up existing scratches.

Considering the other choices, I think I would go for the robot.

They forgot to put the in SATA dock for plugging in your hard drive into the top.

I don't understand the reasoning behind stereo devices with the left and right speakers next to each other. Unless your right ear is hearing mostly the right channel and the left ear mostly the left channel, there is no stereo effect, and with this device you would have to put your head right up against it to achieve

Or you can just send the 3d files to shapeways and they can print them out for you in the material of your choice.

Downright dumb. Not only is it heavier and more delicate than aluminum, but glass is crap at heat dissipation, which is one of the biggest challenges on these devices.

You might have mentioned Photoshop Elements, which has about 1/3 the bells and whistles of the full program, but available for about $75.

Now playing

You can boil water and cook eggs in a paper bag, heck you can boil water in a plastic bag.

128GB over usb2? What's that, like a 5 hr burn?

It would be a lot cheaper to do it in CG though.

That trailer alone is going to make that guy's career.

Seems great for commuting without arriving sweaty to your job in the summer. I wish the cargo capacity was larger for carrying groceries.

And increase the number of books, movies and every other household item by infinity...

If you need any real customer support you would be wise to order at Apple for your company as well.

I think Apple makes plenty of $ on the iPads since there is no computer manufacturer that can come close to buying parts in the volumes that they do.

I think you have the analogy backwards. The apps are the razor, and the iPad is the blades, since most of the apps are free or very cheap, and Apple makes the big bucks off the iPad sales. After all, if Apple makes $200 per ipad and they make 30% on the app sales then you would have to buy $700 worth of apps and songs

For some reason it made me think of the film "Blade Runner". Aside from that it did not do anything special to me. If you do like this sort of thing I suggest try listening to more jazz, which is all about the Holy Shit moments.
