The Reagan movie call back would perfectly embody the titular palindrome too.

Tom and Lorenzo described the final episode as the epilogue and the true final episode as episode 9. I think this makes a ton of sense since all the plot lines are pretty much tied up at the end of episode 9 and episode 10 simply serves to show that love, compassion and kindness can still exist alongside death and

His "gift" to Paul was the highlight of the entire show for me.

I just watched FUBAR and jesus, I feel like I need to shower after that. Not sure I even want to watch the last 2 eps, that's how violently unwatchable it's become. Every character has devolved into complete monsters or total idiots and I wouldn't care if every one of them followed the birds nest out the window. F is

I'm an old lady and I was sceptical, but a lot of the stories are really good. Like, REALLY good.

A very conservative Christian woman called me a "bleeding heart" when I was talking about universal healthcare as a way to minimise class inequality and I was just like "You actually think that helping the poor and having compassion for my fellow man is an insult?"

I don't know, I wouldn't put it past Shelley or Byron to put their dicks in a fire either.

Yeah, I can see them working as a Black Mirror style anthology with a different story per episode, but not a whole 6 episode run for one story. On the other hand, a lot of shows have been based around way less quality material than Candle Cove and some of the other Creepypastas. Psychosis and The Devil Game have the

Yes, because complaining that you don't understand why people like a thing you consider inferior deserves a really deeply considered response.

I don't know, maybe not everyone has access to the wealth of superior media you do that explores the 2nd generation immigrant experience, and hence don't find it "moldy"?

I own a home and a vibrator and I don't want kids, what's even the point of a relationship for someone like me? Snuggling in front of Netflix doesn't offset the statistical likelihood of an increase to my domestic workload and stress levels. I left my last relationship because I was emotionally and physically

I agree. If you can't find momentary joy in a toy dinosaur (or something equally as frivolous) then you might as well give up. What exactly are "adults" supposed to enjoy? Stock tips and sensible shoes?

I live in Australia in the tropics and I have like 5 of them. But we call them "jumpers". Does that mean I'm NOT an upper middle class striver? This so confusing.

I'm mid -30's and it's that unique time when everyone is married, but no one has started getting divorced yet and the guys who are left are single because they want a mommy not a girlfriend. Ugh, I have just opted out of the whole thing.

But does it need to do anything new? Whether to have kids or not is a real choice that people have been struggling with since women's lib gave both men and women the choice to opt out of the cookie cutter life of house, kids, wife/husband. And the answer is that there is no right answer. I think the episode did say

So if human suffering is all simply part of God's benevolent plan, then surely it is wrong for us to try and heal sickness or prevent disaster or death? Are we not subverting God's plan by creating vaccines, by treating people infected with parasites, by treating cancer, by developing early warning systems for

Oh I am in total agreement that across the board bans aren't necessary. Like I said, I have a gun, but I have to be licensed as a gun owner which requires me to show cause why I need one and undergo a criminal history check. I then have to register every gun I buy. I also have to conform to storage and security laws

Yes, that was a bit of hyperbole on my part about it not mattering. Obviously the more facts one has the better before any kind of sweeping policy change especially given the logistics of something like the gun buyback in the US. I do get that the US is vastly different to Australia, so I don't want to be that person

I don't think it really matters what proportion of gun deaths are replaced by knife deaths. If it's less than 100% it is going to save lives. And it's not going to be anywhere close to 100%. Like I said, you're not going to have the accidental gun deaths, especially those of and by children, replaced with knife

Not really. If God is omnipotent he has the power to prevent suffering, and if he's benevolent he has the will to prevent suffering. Kids getting brain cancer mean he either lacks the power to intervene (not omnipotent) or the will (not benevolent). Whether you believe that a god lacking these qualities is one worth
