That really is very nice looking... wonder what the measurement scale on the front is for...

@SteveJobsSexLife: And you know what? Google has the cash to try everything and see if it sticks... so deal.

What happened to the Chrome Tablet that was supposed to be released around Black Friday?

@eternalcthulhu: And up-skirt camera power... they get all the best toys.

@ripfire: Dude, chill out. You were being sarcastic in your original comment about us not spending time on other planets. Duh. I was simply responding in kind to let you know that until we have other methods, remote capabilities (sats and landers) is all we have. Of course ''being there" is better, but we don't

@ripfire: NASA has the ability to examine other planets using special satellite telescopes and other tools without having to actually visit the planet, you know?

I knew this would be bogus... yes, it sounds like a very big deal and I'm sure it is to biologists and chemists, but the lifeform was found here... on Earth. Not on Venus or Jupiter or...

@DH: I may not fight the pat-down scan, but I definitely believe in fighting any law or rule that forbids me from using my camera or video recorder to catch wrong doings or other acts that need to be shared... I think you're right, though... I can see airports forbidding the use of video equipment inside their

@HK-47: You're sort of right... planes are so 2001. I worry about places like sporting events who just ask me to lift my hat... seriously!?

@bender123: Never said that... just said there'll be less oversight with an outside firm. The TSA is at least under the Dept Homeland Security and there IS some oversight, however little it may be.

Last paragraph in the article: "The TSA points out that even if an airport decides to use a private firm for security, the screeners still must follow TSA guidelines. That would include using enhanced pat-downs and the full-body scanners if they are installed at the airport."

Nice article. For me, I can think of two choices:

Let's see - FB enables weak security measures by default and requires me to disable them - a marketing/sales dept requirement/move if I've ever seen one. I'm already seeing "tailored" email in my FB Inbox - don't call it Spam! FB knows what I like and dislike, so those emails are 100% relevant and not spam... no

Given the security failure when Buzz rolled out, I'll bet that Google will have better privacy controls on Google Me than Facebook, including better documentation of how to turn on/off things. I have a FB account, but if Google can prove to me that Google Me will be a safer AND more feature-filled service, I'll give

Just an FYI - today, Nov 10th, was the announced release date for T-Mobile. Called 2 stores in Atlanta and told they're not carrying it yet... called sales dept at corporate and was told that it's not even showing up in their inventory yet. Way to go, T-Mobile!

Copy the link... paste into a Google search bar... select the Cached option.

Screw 'em! Maybe if we deny WoW to a large enough percentage of their population, they'll revolt and demand real change in that country!

I'm really torn - the game is a gem - I'm totally addicted but I doubt I'll pay for the extra parts. The space phase is my favorite (seems to be a common thread among most users) so the expansion there is a no brainer.
