Honestly the world of Dragon Dogma wasn’t that thrilling to navigate. That said, the limited use of fast travel with the ferrystones system was a good idea. It forces you to think about the best places to put your ferrystones and motivates you to find more of them.

Facial animations in Outer Worlds are much better then everything Bethesda ever put out (not that it’s hard to beat mind you). Also there are some interesting art designs, especially the corpo stuff. That said, I tend to agree. Visually it’s nothing to write home about.
