If you want to affect change, you need to do more than simply comment about it on a Jezebel site. Action can come in many different forms, such as showing strong support for a movie that extolls a positive message about female heroism.

I have thought this subject over extensively, and I have come to the conclusion that while I feel bad that women are marginalized in our society, the blame ultimately rests with them as the majority of women are too shortsighted, selfish, and close-minded about themselves to ever effect any real change from this world.

She is wrong on many different levels. She made some pretty ignorant and abhorrent generalizations-do not try to justify them and do not try to be an apologist for her—-just don’t do it.
