I love Chloe Zhao’s work, but I question the logic of hiring a director renowned for sparse and understated storytelling to helm a movie based on a comic series known for the vibrantly crowded batshittery of Jack Kirby.

Certainly. I am far from an expert in legalities, but he was clearly blameless in the shooting incident, but that title complicates things.
I can’t tell which feel weirder , hearing Sam Neil speaking in a Southern accent or the watching scenes of the US troops still being in Afghanistan.
I don’t disagree, but that title will potentially get him into heaps of trouble once the legal cases come.
Baldwin certainly can’t be blamed for the misfire, but it appears he might be in trouble given that he’s also the producer.
An underrated thing about this season has been the vfx and creature effects. Quite surprising considering the understated nature of the show. I had to rewind the gooey part and it was seamless.
Which would make sense with the cinematographer and director both getting shot.
Looks like the trailer told most of the story. Being a Bay movie, how hard is it to edit a trailer with enough exciting (and slow-mo dramatic) scenes that didn’t need to spoil the movie?
There is thing called the search option. I use it a lot when I spot articles of episodes or movies that I haven’t seen yet. It’s neat!
Toosh.
That was fun.
You know what role he should have turned down?
It’s been two decades of me taking myself into an M. Night film thinking that “this time, he might get it right.” But, man, Old may have been the last straw. At least with Ed Wood, it felt like rooting for an underdog who fought his way through meager budgets.
I haven’t seen Halloween Kills, but please allow me to submit “Old” to that worst movie in recent years list.
Cliff shouting “What the Fuck?” is one of my favorite things in this show. I refuse to say goodbye to that.
Cyborg’s powers has always been boring. The role of the singing, fun loving & wreckless Cyborg from Teen Titans Go went to Robot Man
In an episode that included surviving in goo for 35 years and eyeball bombs, the least believable thing was that those wood and paper scrolls were impressively waterproof.
The word “Netizens” is still very commonly used in news media from the Asian country where I’m originally from. So, I had no idea that the word has largely faded from the rest of the world.
