It seemed pretty obvious to me that Carrie fell asleep by the tub because she declined the uppers despite her fatigue because she was trying to be a better person (and mom).

It’s a way to garner viewer sympathy and suspense about the possible tragedy of the kid drowning even while his mom is doing the right thing. I

I’m a fan of the zombie genre and the dramatic tensions that go with it. So, I was looking forward to this one, but also made sure to keep expectations low so I can enjoy a silly, fun, popcorn flick.

Boy, was I wrong. Army of the Dead may be my worst movie watching experience in recent memory. Buff zombies, Bad

That. Was. Terrible.

By the time Anthony Mackie showed up in the trailer, I had that “Holy smokes! this terrible movie is stacked with names” look in my eyes.

Also, as a Celtics fan, I appreciate the mention of “Boston Garden” in the article even though it was demolished in the mid-90's. “TD Garden” just doesn’t have the same ring to it.

Great episode. I’m glad I stuck with this series because this season has been a pleasant surprise. Elisabeth Moss is simply amazing. She’s the ‘86 Jordan to this show.

One thought that has come to mind and made me excited: the possibility of June meeting Fred Waterford with the power dynamic shifted (I didn’t read the

I don’t see a problem here.

The awkwardness of Tig Notaro trying to guess who they are and then saying “ohh, it’s a tv show” at the 20th minute would make it so much better.

You know, I honestly forgot how this was resolved and I was in my 20's then and very much into the news.

Wow, that looks awful.

People made Home Improvement a juggernaut #1 tv show too. I never understood it, but US tv watchers can be perplexing.

...I like him!

You know, I’m actually surprised that this will be her first marriage. Back in the early 2000, I would’ve predicted she’d be in, at least, her 3rd marriage by forty. So, congrats?

“Eric Pope,” “Pope & Dunn,” “Gregory Shapiro.” I gotta admit, those are good made up lawyer names. Have fun in jail, Johnny.

I’ve actually never read it past the second line. My eyes automatically go straight to the article and barely notice it. So, no, it doesn’t bother me. The disclaimer is there as helpful info for those who need it, which is fine by me.

WAIT. Family Matters was a Perfect Strangers spin-off? I had no idea.

Wow, episode 1 was BAD. I’m going to watch the 2nd episode just for curiosity’s sake, but I don’t see any way it will reach even the “it’s okay” level.

Sofia Coppola gets a forever pass from me because of Lost in Translation. I’ll watch whatever she directs just to try to recapture those magic moments of Bill and Scarlet in Tokyo.
Now, I honestly don’t remember if I’ve seen Marie Antoinette. If I did, I hope I’ve permanently forgotten it so that I can watch this

I wish I asked my grandparents about their experience in World War II in the Philippines. All I know is that they had to hide in the mountains and my grandma, who was pregnant at that time, had to learn to hunt for boar with a rifle. They lived in the first city that the Japanese bombed right after Pearl Harbor. Mind

I sometimes think about the time the Philippine president saved thousands of German and Austrian Jews by offering them asylum despite protests from the US (their colonial ruler at that time) in 1939.

That was three years before the Japanese invaded the Philippines and ravaged the country until 1945. Made me wonder how
