Here’s the thing, Voltes V is huge in the Philippines. HUGE. I didn’t know about the ban, but it’s clear that it dodn’t work because even a decade later, Filipino kids like me were still watching the series and a few of us could sing the Japanese intro song (and we don’t speak Japanese).

Voltez V mech toys are still

Hell, even with a body, Bat canon sometimes waves the magic wand with a convenient Lazarus Pit.

That would be the predictable next step, wouldn’t it? I’d laugh at how disastrous it would be, but I’ve given up predicting what Florida will do.

The naked elevator couple cracked me up. The guy looked like he was 2 feet away from her and aiming at her right thigh.

I know a guy from high school calledMitz” and we always assumed it was always his name since childhood.

I recently found out that it was my fault because I misspelled his name in our 8th grade class. I was asked by our teacher to make a class cleaners poster. Basically, it was a schedule of cleaning responsibilities

Not now, Anna.

This is my first time finding out that the actress’ name is Ragga Ragnars and I had to look her up because that’s such a fitting name for the series.

I see Floki’s still stuck at the far end of Westworld. Ultimately, I’d love to see him trek down to Viking world.

It’s almost 2021 and we’re still doing this crappy slideshow thing? Cool.

Great article with some nice insights about the episode (too much Stormtrooper battles, some needed levity, etc.), but one thing:

Or Raul Julia’s exit as M. Bison.

Possibly in dense forests of Zamunda?

Sound of Metal is amazing. I’ve been wanting to watch The Climb and now including First Cow (trailer looks right up my alley) in the list.

Conan asks question about Zoom interviews.
Diego: “It’s tough! It’s tough to accept that THIS IS THE WAY.”

Star wars fans: OMG, Mandalorian appearance on Endor series confirmed.

Have some respect. He hid that uncomfortable hunk of metal up his ass for two years.

This how I feel about gaming. I’m perfectly set in my 80's Super Mario, Legend of Kage, XCOM, and Tetris ways.

Between her and Lenny Kravitz, there must have been some serious vampire serum being handed out in that video shoot.

The last time I saw that video was probably in the 90's, so now I’m off to watch it again. For science.

If you look closely, there is no paint on the brush. Fair to say that Cage conjured that painting with his mind.

Me neither, but it’s popped into my radar with all the conversation about it being a Christmas classic. Netflix’s “The Holiday Movies that Made Us” even featured it in season 1.

I didn’t bothered watching it when it came out, but maybe having a 10 year old kid is a good excuse to check it out.

I’ve never seen this show. I remember it being mentioned on this site when it was still in the works. Thanks for reminding me of this show’s existence so I can add it to my watch list during this pandemic.
