You knew I'd show up here. I'm not going to say what you think I'm going to say.

Guns don't make people assholes, sometimes assholes just have guns.

There are certainly plenty of decent gun owners out there, but the institution of gun culture in the US is an absolute cesspool.

This escalated quickly.

Maybe she's been taking ballet lessons since she was three and she is just not that great at it. Did you think of that, people? I've been eating solid food since I was less than a year old, but I'm still not an expert. I regularly spill on my chest. No, I haven't had a lot of lessons, but I have been eating at an

Roger Ebert is sadly missed...

You know some incredibly calm and possibly sedated families, then.

I don't like it when IO9 posts these things. Really, a bunch of nerds on the Internet arguing over religion never solves anything. I suppose I'm engaging in it now but really only to make this point: It's futile. I know better now, that's about really the only thing I've learned.

Yes; the question should never be do you believe in evolution, the question is properly: do you understand evolution?

If you were God, what would you wear?

"Yet, the underlying sentiment of both these statements bother me, in that they suggest a false dichotomy between faith and science—the idea that you can believe in the Bible or you can believe in evolution, but you can't believe in both."

Not an expert in Missouri politics here, but if they have to make that trade to make democracy work, it makes sense to me. They feel they can challenge and nullify this bill in court, and getting Rs to drop voter ID laws protects likely Democratic voters - which makes it less likely in the future that they will have

My brother used to say that. Took him years to realize the problem wasn't every woman in the world in a leadership position, it was that he was incredibly threatened by having to report to a woman. He's a lot more employable these days.

You know what? I didn't agonize at all. I found out I was pregnant on a Friday and I went in on Monday (the soonest I could) to terminate. I knew right away that I would do it. And 5 years later I still have zero regrets.

"Thinking about it" for threed days isn't going to be much of a deterence; however, the extra costs will likely stop some women who just can't afford it.

Unfortunately, I have not yet developed a tough skin about these things. I actually cried during one conversation (I cry when I'm angry - so embarrassing). I get along well with everyone else in the office, including my female boss and supervisor, but these incidents have definitely affected my morale.

Frankly, I don't think women having it too easy is going to be a problem anytime soon. Cross that bridge if we come to it, yeah?

You mean to tell me you're going to reserve judgment because you don't know which account to trust? Jesus. You might be the second person on the planet to ever do this. Impressive. Most people read an article on Jezebel or elsewhere and make a knee-jerk reaction... because surely that article gives you the whole

Well this knocks the Elevator Scandal off the board. Well played, Bey. Well played.
