Holy shit. Are you actually blaming a child who was raped by her father for being willing to accept his money? What the fuck is wrong with you?

And she's amazing too.

I want her arms. (does that make me weird? I don't care, they're fabulous.)

It's getting so bad it's almost like THE AIR IS MADE ENTIRELY OF CHEMICALS!!! Pretty much by definition of not being a vacuum! Oh god oh god we're all going to die. And I bet we'll be sucking down air chemicals when we do.

I think the reason we're seeing some much drama is the parents/nonparents faultline that always seems to come out of the woodwork whenever children/parenting are mentioned. People sometimes seem to take critiques of what may arguably be the most important task in their lifetime poorly. Shocking.

A meal at that restaurant was probably a special treat for quite a few of the other diners present, and I don't think saying "fuck it" is at all respectful to those people who observed good etiquette and shelled out 200$+ themselves to be there.

Ok but seriously if you're forking over 400$+20% charge+wine, and you know you aren't going to be refunded if you miss the date, wouldn't you have a back up plan in case the babysitter can't make it? Either another baby sitter, or family member, or even a service? I feel like they had options even at such a late date

This article is precisely the point I was attempting to address.

We've come a long way, sure, but I wouldn't say we have unfettered access. A great many places don't have abortion clinics nearby and an appallingly low percentage of hospitals are certified to carry out abortions. It's one thing if you live in the southern cities, another entirely if you're in a rural area.

I'll just leave this here. For science.

Not just a helmet, leather jacket (all weather), jeans, boots that cover your ankles, and gloves too. As a young dumb thing I lost entirely too much skin to the road because I thought it was too warm to wear all mah gear. You never know when some car turning left is going to decide that you don't exist. Being a crayon

Your original post insinuated that the statistics quoted were untrue, and you provided a link to an article that was not at all rigorous in its methods and did not at all address the 1% property claim. If you wish to convincingly present a case about "crappy statistics" provide actual contradictory data.

Wealth and income are two different things. For instance I, a graduate student owning next to nothing but my big expensive brain, have student loans that occupy most of my earnings and consequently very little wealth. I still make a decent income.

When that article states:
