Agreed. They need to get back to figuring out the draft before they thing about splurging in free agency to push them into contention.

I tend to think they’ll let him play out the contract, maybe see if a new coach can breathe some new life into things, even if they let Webb get some 2nd half playing time.

Emphasis mine:

So far this year Eli Manning isn’t too far off his career averages, and his completion rate is higher this season than it was in either of his championship seasons. The only real difference is that yards per completion is down, and you can’t pin exclusively on him - play calling and receivers not picking up yards

If two Super Bowl MVPs over Tom Brady is generic, I’d love to see exciting.

How many franchises would love to have 2 SB victories in 14 years? I’d say almost every one except the Patriots.

By a certain standard, holding down a starting job for that long is, on its own, pretty damn successful. Ask any QB in the league if they’d settle for Eli’s career and I bet most would say yes.

This stuff may in fact be the worst pizza in the world. I include some of the cheaper frozen pizzas you can find at the grocery store when you’re broke and hungry.

The fact that you think this is at best what a diner can be tells me you’ve never been to one in NJ

Stop fighting! They’re both shitholes!

Philly is a shithole.

The guy from Philly, where cheese whiz is a delicacy, is talking down to the state with the nation’s highest population density.

This one time, when I lived in Philly, I got on the wrong ramp and ended up going over the Franklin Bridge into Camden, New Jersey. Then I had to pay a toll to go back across. That’s right, they make you pay to leave New Jersey. Money well spent.

Tea Party of the Left.

He is somehow incapable of learning to change or shift his message? He’s had years in the national spotlight and yet can’t be bothered to work on a broader message. He can’t just keep telling minority communities “you’re not getting it” when he continues to ignore the same message coming back at him.

I’m seeing something other than how his words were (stupidly) structured, but I think he meant to include everyone in his statement about “ordinary Americans.”

Old man rambling on late night tv. And some people want him to run again in ‘20. Nope. The reason so many people felt the Bern was because he sold them on pie in the sky dreams. Telling them what they wanted to hear. “Student loan forgiveness, $15 dollar minimum wage and healthcare for all!”. Good on paper, but with

I remember the time before the primaries’ results, on Tumblr, when posts kept popping up to remind the members that Bernie also marched for “the Blacks’” civil rights. To me... The posts felt soooooo condescending.

Huh? No. If you have a rookie stud who drops 50+ bombs, and a lights-out bullpen, and a cast of veterans who can still contribute, you’ll be a pretty good baseball manager. If you have none of those things, you won’t.
